This Doosan GC55C's steer axle had already fallen out twice, leaving the customer without the machine for months at a time. When it failed for the third time, TCS tore it down at the customer's facility and found why the previous repairs never held.
- Broken studs had been drilled out crooked
- The wrong drill size had been used for the tap
- Radiator, supports, counterweight, exhaust, and overhead guard removed
- Damaged subframe section removed and structurally repaired
- Complete on-site reinstall and reassembly to cut downtime

We corrected the damaged subframe, rebuilt the machine on-site, and returned it to service without sending it away for months.
